Plain terms for a small, kind thing.

By making or opening anything on Heart.fm you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

Your content

Everything you write stays yours. You give Heart.fm permission to store it and show it to the people you share a link with, and nothing else. Do not upload images you do not have the right to use, and do not use Heart.fm to harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone.

Shared spaces keep your history

Starting or joining a shared space means the two of you agree to keep what you do together in it: decisions, answers, appreciations, the shared list, and every bedtime note either of you tucks into the space, along with its replies and photos. Those notes do not expire after 30 days; they stay for as long as the space exists, so the two of you can look back on them. A note written outside a space still expires after 30 days. The writer of a note can unpublish it at any time with its edit key, and both of you together can ask for the whole space to be deleted.

Links are keys

A tape link, note link, or shared-space link opens that thing for anyone who has it. Share them the way you would share a house key. Heart.fm cannot recover a lost edit key.

Music

Songs are streamed by YouTube and Spotify under their own terms of service. Heart.fm links to and embeds music; it does not host recordings. Video results are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Plus and tips

Tape Plus is a one-time purchase for one tape. Our Space Plus is a monthly subscription that can be cancelled at any time through the Stripe receipt link; it stays active until the end of the paid period. Tips are gifts and are not refundable. If a paid feature is broken, write to us and we will make it right or refund it.

Availability

Heart.fm is offered as is. We work hard to keep it up, but a private link may become unavailable, and bedtime notes written outside a shared space expire after 30 days by design. We may change or retire features with notice on the home page.

Age

Heart.fm is for adults and for teenagers with a parent’s permission. It is not directed at children under 13.
